The Importance of Joy in Life

Yesterday was actually the three year mark of that. It makes sense why your dad is so into seeing you follow your own personal joy though. That does give some context of why he would get choked up at that. He must be so happy to see you making choices that are about not putting pressure on yourself but bringing yourself some joy and giving yourself that permission during a stretch of life where a lot of people might overthink it.
