Why Aren't We Teaching Gambling in Mathematics Classes?
Gambling has been included as a way of teaching mathematics but there's increasingly been movement away from that and it goes back to really archaic thoughts about harm minimization. We do have an increasingly crowded curriculum and issues within schools so the idea will where do you actually fit this into a curriculum when you've got kids that are increasingly crowded in terms of their capacity to include new subjects. Even beyond that teaching people about statistics and odds is not going to solve any problems what we can start doing though is start to put some of those psycho-education into schools.
