How Did That All Start?
triton will be broadcast on ITV1 and BT Sport in the next two years. The company is backed by venture capital firm Sequoia Capital, founded by Michael verrion who has invested with some of the world's most famous sports companies. Mr Verrion says he was impressed at how well-connected Triton athletes were to their new business model. He hopes that this could become a model for other sports as it allows them to co-own an entire sport.
