Is There a Need for More Open Capital Markets in China?
If the dollar does decline, presumably there has to be some other currency that takes it spaceof romimbe would be an obvious candidate. That requires a need for more open capital markets in china and internationalization of the romimbi. I suspect that at this point, having seen whats happened to rosalon this years, quite a lot of reflection about whether or not china wants to continue depending on the dollar. But i am not necessarily a buyer of the view that we can end up in a very widely dispersed, multi polar currency system.
