We took 26 abitually shot runners and we discovered that there were these very profound differences. The biggest predictor of whether your loading rate got better or worse was did you manage to learn how to land at the ankle? Right. Some people might just not have the sensory capabilities or the muscle strength. And some people may need to strengthen them for four to six weeks before you even try it because you're asking them to do something they're not structurally capable of doing.
