When you were brigade commander, leaders had to remove combat patches and tabs when going out to training. Joe: "I viewed this as an incredible opportunity" You can either do nothing and let each of the subordinate organizations come up with what they think is an appropriate culture or you can weigh in on it. Uniforms always inspire some some conversation.
