The Coalition's Proposal to Raise the Rate of Job Seeker

Pension bonus is a good idea relatively benign, labor picked it up at their jobs and school. But it hasn't necessarily seen a big rush of people back into the workforce. So we would hope that we would see this as an incentive for a higher take up of job seeker. We want to make sure that disadvantaged Australians are looked after. There is no doubt about that. But we also want to see people that are looking for work, job seekers get into work. And we think this is a good way of going about it.
