The History of Glass Making

Archaeologists are pretty sure that the way this probably happened was smelting other metals. And so if you're doing that in Egypt where there's a lot of sand, you probably drop some very hot things on the ground and melt the sand. It would require some specialized tools and equipment to make some kind of a forge. But I say the word forge as sort of a segue to talk about how probably glass making was discovered.
