What Happened to the County Population?
The county population fell from between five to six thousand in the early twentieth century to about 600 now. There's basically zero acres of crop left in the county, and almost all the land has been turned back over to a cattle grazing,. And oblare mostly interranging. So what i'm doing, i mean, i'm driving a school bus, a hundred and 50 each run morning and night. Each one is 70 miles. I'm running a total ofof a hundred and forty miles a day am a large part of which is dirt, um and rough gravel roads because i'm quite central compared to these people.
