The Origins of Ashera in the Ark of the Covenant
Ashera would have been a kind of stylized tree. There's an argument to make that this is a species of a divine model. On it, it shows stylized date palm so a trunk and then some kind of branches that curl off of it on either side are feeding I bixes. This is also drawn on a large pot of pithos from Contillat-age-rud that is largely understood by scholars to be a symbol that represents Ashera.
