Is Meads Complementary to HMC?

I think one nice thing about meads is that because it's sort of in this mini chain, you know, I was sort of talking about generalized HMC. The point of the real contribution in meads is the automatic tuning strategy. And that I'm pretty optimistic about under certain circumstances. Situations where I don't think it's going to work is if you have serious multimodality. But at least for robustness, nuts is still going to win.
