Buddhism

Buddhism teaches that all natural phenomenon have causes and conditions. The purpose of the universe, I think in Western thinking there must be a reason for it because if there wasn't a reason then it shouldn't exist. With the Buddhist mindset it's not about the reason, it's about the cause. It can be another one of those topics where it's more like a science than it is like a religion or more of a psychology than it is religion.
