Is There a Benefit to Walking Meditation?
When I walk by myself in the city, the act of walking seems to be a catalyst for a certain kind of thinking. And it's my favorite type of thinking. Sometimes I'll have really big thoughts. sometimes I'll have very specific like, oh, that sentence I was working on. I need to flip the last two phrases. Like these are the kinds of thoughts that just don't happen when I sit and try to think. If there are ways to kind of trick yourself by finding an activity that inspires or that conspires to produce some of this nice sort of thinking...I can't see how it would be a very good feeling to be addicted to your phone, honestly.
