The Evolution of Sound

Sound travels almost five times faster through seawater than it does through air. Plants are affected by sound pressure waves in water that experience sound through vibrations. But we've evolved to experience sound through changing air pressure. So, you're hearing me now. We're hearing each other through changing airpressure affecting our eardrums.
