The Mount of Olives

The Middle East is not a flat desert, it's in the mountains. It gets snow on a fairly regular occasion. The Aloxamask and the Dome of the Rock were completed in the seventh and eighth centuries AD. And if we overlay this, right, to the best of my artistic photoshopping ability, here's what it probably would have looked like in the days of Jesus.
