Peter's Rejection of Judas

A person who knows their own brokenness will tread very gently with others. Peter's belief that he would do anything, he was going to prove to them he would lay down his life for Jesus. His pride led him to a place of the ultimate embarrassment which is that he denied Jesus. That is the whole reason he went to the cross and I believe when Peter looked across the courtyard and saw Jesus look into his eyes, it wasn't the look of disappointment that Peter saw but the look of Jesus's unwavering love.
