Is Marriage a Status Symbol?
Emma Bush: Marriage has also become kind of a status symbol for millennials. She says the idea that in order for a relationship to be real, or to be serious, it needs to be moving upward on this trajectory toward certain things being entwined with each other is wrong. Bush: Sarving will make you more likely to stay together longer but there are studies showing that doing those sorts of things don't necessarily mean they'll last.
