cybersecurity researchers did incredible work trying to encourage the company to talk about this in public. They have been trying to hack space for a decade plus for white hat reasons. Ruben Santa Marta, he's been warning since 2014 that space is insecure. Another one I spoke to called James Parvall intercepted satellite data transmissions. He got ahold of crew manifests, passport details, credit card details. It is extraordinary how much out there in space is not encrypted and how easy it is to get hold of it.
