The Story of Sadia Levi Rubashi
Sadia Levi Rubashi was born in Yemen and moved to the land of Israel when he was seven years old. The name Rubashi comes from a village called Rubesh, which is where Sadia's family came from. When his children went to school they didn't know how to say Rubashi so instead of kaf, they said kaf, and it became kovashi. That's how our name was born.
