Is Skiing the Only Way to Connect?

Skiing was my first proper sporting love as well. The idea of then going overseas to ski was such a big deal. We'd go every few years if we could. I think sadly, maybe on one level as well, sport was probably then the only way you connect as well. That can create quite an interesting dynamic,. especially when you're not doing sport or whatever else, then there's not really anything to have a connection about.
