I know that you also have an interest in Eastern philosophy. Did your research lead you to look into the esoteric knowledge of the East and mysticism in general? Well in 1968 before I came up with morphic resonance I did travel through India and I lived in Malaysia for a year. So I had been exposed to Eastern thought but I hadn't sort of really assimilated much of it. And then because I wanted to explore consciousness without drugs, I didn't want to be taking psychedelics all the time. That is where my previous exposure to India and Buddhist culture played a part.
