Introduction
The House Select Committee investigating the January 6 attack on the Capitol announced today that it will deliver what is essentially its closing statement next week. The announcement comes weeks before the new Republican majority assumes control of the House, but that does not end the inquiries into what happened. We're going to have more of the Department of Justice investigation into what happened, giving attempts to gain access to her public incongence text messages,. plus newly revealed text messages to the former president's chief of staff at the time of the insurrection.
