Sightings of the Gloucester serpent continued to be recorded for decades after even up until 1819 when the linian society of New England published a study. There even came a time when people spotted smaller versions of the same monster that were crawling around on the beach. The serpent has even been featured in Bernard Hovalman's famous crypto zoology work in the wake of Now because it had a massive horn sticking out of its head.
