The Justice Department's Role in the Trump Campaign

Richard Donahue, who ended up as the acting Deputy Attorney General by the time this madness was over, explained to the January 6 committee the proper role of the Justice Department. "We are not quality control for the states. We are obviously interested in and have a mission that relates to criminal conduct in relation to federal elections," he said. And so with that in mind, here's the testimony about what President Trump did to the Justice Department in his last two months in office. Here's Representative Liz Cheney of Wyoming speaking to Catch City Hutchinson, who again was the assistant to Mark Meadows, who was President Trump's chief of staff.
