The Father's Past

When you read the story, it's so strictly limited to this time. We hear a little bit about the father's past. But we never get any kind of scenes from childhood,. Any sense of the details of his relationships with his daughters. One person's buying pizza for the nurses and micromanaging every little detail. The others narrating the story. And then we have a third sister who's not even really involved.
