Is the Notification Countr on the Phone on the Screen?
The always on display feature is jarring to many users. The notification countr can't be swiped away without waking the phone up first, which makes it feel broken in a way. Apple could make notifications less obtrusive by adding an icon or face that you authenticate with when looking at your device.
