The Will to Power
Schopenhauer was writing around the same time and he had this idea of the will to life. Nietzsche's arguing that more so than just this simple will to light is this will to have power right? We don't want to feel powerless we want to have power over ourselves and the people around us, even if that's an uncomfortable thing to acknowledge. He says verily I say unto you good and evil which would be everlasting it doth not exist of its own accord must it ever surpass itself anew with your values and formula of good and evil ye exercise power revaluing ones'
