The Obsession With Scoops in Journalism
I think journalism overall has and it's long had a obsession with scoops that is more internal into the profession than Twitter made it. I used to always overhear the reporters at ad week who were trying to break the five finalists for the Pennzoil CRM review back when that was like the currency of it. The entertainment oriented publications like Variety and Hollywood Reporter have done much better than they had focused ones. Those pubs are struggling for relevance right now. And we just decapitated their leadership. They just got rid of their CEO and their chief content officer who I don't know either of them.
