Sally Kohn: My intuition is that if you could get rid of the conceptual distinction and nothing bad would happen as a race, then I'm inclined to side with social constructionism in that case. But there are other cases, she says, where it's more ethical to label something like mental illness rather than just being fidgety or having trouble sitting still.
