Buttethe: The idea that we sleep in order to forget was proposed by the great, one of our great luminaries in biology, and that's francis crick. He published a thought provoking paper in 19 83, i believe, ar 84, where he basically said, we sleep inorder to forget. And it turns out that when we sleep, all those mechanisms that result in memories in our posterior cortex wilt back down. So if we use the leaves of grass as a metaphor, you have the sort of trimming or mowing down of most of your memories. Most creative types seem to function best in the morning.
