What's the Problem With Economic Equality in Japan?
Most women in Japan work as what's the word? Temporary or irregular workers, exactly. And they were usually more likely to be working in the service industry. When the pandemic hit, they didn't have chances to go to work anymore because their work was shut down. So then people were laid off and they were morelikely to be told to go home than men. Their economic participation was really low compared to men.
