The Screen Actors Guild has joined the Writers Guild of America in their strike. This is the first time that these two unions have been on strike at the same time since 1960 when Ronald Reagan was the head of SAG. The FTC is investigating OpenAI, a company which claims to be able to create artificially intelligent computers with human-like intelligence.
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is looking into whether OpenAI's ChatGPT has caused consumer harms in terms of data collection and safety practices as well as disparaging information. A look at what the implications are for the larger state of AI regulation.
