Introduction

Two years ago we covered the rise of Hadoop and today I wanted to cover maybe the fall of it. Here's a discussion from two years ago about whether or not Hadoop is dead, dying, or still alive. So one of the things that the industry has been talking about an op-a-lot is big data. And for the longest time it seemed like Hadoop was where it's going to be at. But there's some dissenting opinions there.
