The Feminist Movement and the Rise of Transphobia

She was playing with gender decades before we were having any kind of conversation about that, just in her presentation and the way she spoke about herself. I think it would be wrong to put her in that sort of box. She represented so much in terms of mental health and in terms of liberalism, in terms of feminism as well. But to actually say you're a feminist, I think that would be almost insulting to her because she had an identity, a unique identity for her, which should be respected.
