What Is a Behavior Threat Assessment?
Behavior threat assessment is a community based violence prevention method that brings together experts. The primary expertises mental health and law enforcement, then depending on what where it's being done you have other people involved as well. It essentially looks at situations that are concerning people who are behaving in ways that are a unsettling to others around them - causing fear or anxiety. And th a threat assessment team will take a look at that individual's case and try to understand what's going on with the person,. whether there's a level of danger, and then create a plan to manage the situation and try to help that person on to a better course.
