Hypogastric Artery Ligation

In the old days, before we 20 to 30 years ago, we would send slurry down that internal cardiac. We would put clips on that hypogastric or put a big old silk around it. To me, I don't think that in my experience in the last 20 years with packing, you don't need to do it. Only about 10 to 15% of patients have arterial bleeding.
