Is There a Morale Paralysis in the Middle East Command?

This is, I think, one of those moments where actually things could have gone could have gone differently with a little bit more acumen at the top. And unfortunately, they don't. The cost is you then have to sort of start again with 8th Army. It does in the end deliver, as we said at the start, the narrative arc then delivers you this proper victory at the second battle of an Alamein. But at this point, there's no one any good fighting maneuver warfare in the British Army. There's lots of reasons why.
