The Nephilim and the Paranormal

The Nephilim were the offspring of angels and human women, angels who chose to leave their appointed place. Do I think that Bigfoot are descendants of the Nephilim? I have a hard time with that. It's a fascinating thing. But there are those aspects of the Bigfoot question that seem to point to creatures that are paranormal rather than actual physical animals. How do we deal with this in a level-headed way? We don't fragment and go down the rabbit hole where we end up going into what the Apostle Paul warned about in 1 Timothy about getting into myths and endless genealogies.
