I find it exceptionally difficult at points, especially if you're kind of in the middle of working on something that's not getting a lot of review or you're unsure about how to proceed on something. I tell people it's like doing a PhD, except you don't have an advisor,. Like you're just on your own, you know, hoping you're doing something useful. It's very isolating, very difficult. You spend a lot of time trying to figure out what's worth working on and code review is one of the most valuable things in Bitcoin.
