Non-Convulsive Status Epilepticus
The patient arrives with a GCS of 3 but no apparent motor activity. EMS states that she was found by family about 30 minutes ago actively seizing. Non-convulsive status accounts for almost 47% of all cases of status epilepticus, and it might be present in up to 30% of patients who are altered. Almost half of patients can have a persistent neurologic deficit.
