Is There a European Privacy Code?

Gol: We have not had a great privacy regime. And no, we might suddenly have one because we're woried about these companies. The reason that there's a european privacy code is that they have a different history than we have. They still have family members who lived when the nazes occupied their country. So they feel very strongly about it, and that's why the european privacy policy was so strong. A california has adopted a version of that, and i don't think that california version is going away....
