The Low Volatility of the US Dollar Index
The VIX is at the spot of around 15. This denotes about 1% moves in the S&P each day roughly. The way I think of it is that there's no force to action occurring right now because typically calls are sold against broader portfolios. Right now, as we sit and watch and wait for the Fed's action over the next three or four weeks or so, I'm kind of sitting in my hands and waiting to see what happens.
