Bill Evans was another influential musician who played on kind of blue. He went in his own stylistic direction despite playing a lot of really great straight ahead jazz and also killing this more modal you know experimental stuff like he was doing at the time. The trio Scott Lefaro Paul motion and Bill Evans known as the Bill Evans trio is one of the most influential groups in all of jazz because of the organic way that they played together. Can't recommend this one enough.
