The Dharma in Poland
Poland is a famously Catholic country. I started the center with another two members of our community almost 14 years ago and it's grown. We didn't know how it would pan out. The first few years like you said we're drawing from relatively small percentage of the population compared for example to the UK or other countries. You asked also about Ukraine and the war. Funny enough over the years one of the strongest reasons for me to practice Buddhism and to teach it to try to help others practice it was to avoid war. At the same time I knew it would.
