electric eels are found in rivers in the amazon, and in brazil particularly. They will group up into gangs of ten eels, and they'll essentially herd the fish into places where they get blocked in,. shock them, and then they've got a whole school of fish that they can feed on. There's so much we don't know about this. I's only been observed in like one small part of the amazon, in one river, essentially, and so we don't know how widespread it is. And what researches are interested in doing is maybe looking at the genomes of these eels to see if there are any genes associated with social predation. You find
