The Importance of Cable in Romania
Romania got cable in the 90s, but it wasn't widespread until about 10 or 15 years ago. The color TV was huge and took a long time to light up. If you wanted to see something actually, you had to calculate in advance 10, maybe 15 minutes to catch a show. And so you see there was a sort of fascination with TV.
