Civit is so much more than CoffeeScript will ever be. You're not like abandoning TypeScript by using Civit. I only imagine somebody building something in Civit and then them bouncing off the project with some poor dev coming along. Not that it's bad, but like, I can't imagine, I think the learning curve for the Civit is extremely sharp.
