The Importance of an Intermediary

I heard someone say that you do, you can trace the IP addresses at least. So I'm guessing they're going to use the IP. And then we're back to my point that there are always an intermediary,. Even if it's not a conceptual intermediary, just by the fact that you need an IP, right? That's an intermediary.
