The Importance of Asking for Help in Reading
I want every listener to know that even though we hear from parents and teachers and friends that reading is this great fun thing, that it can also be really frustrating. I'm so proud of Anna for coming and saying that she needed help but then also being willing to put in the work that she needs to put in. The best way to learn to read is to start by learning the letters and the sounds that go with them and then sound out words letter by letter until you get so good your brain can recognize words super fast. If you want to get better at reading there are lots of ways to do it just ask for help.
