Sailing in a Storm - That's a Really Great Point.
Risk increases as your willingness to change plans decreases. If all the boats are anchored, if you pull up behind a boat in front of you and literally drop your anchor in his dinghy, then that's the perfect spot. The worst thing is if you're anchored and somebody anchors ahead of you, but then when they drift back, they wind up right on top of your anchor. So it's being conscious of not only where you are, but where you are in relation to not just the other boats' anchors.
